A little more Teyla than I like. She
is my least favorite character. I liked your Kate H. She was very easy to relate to. I wish you had made the Sparky scene longer and more intense.
OK, so I took a gamble and read this, even if I generally hate and despise any fics, which starts out as John/Teyla. Not even if it is a John/Teyla break up one, with J/E getting together later. Mainly because I am a John/Elizabeth shipper through and through and has been from the very beginning and John only having romantic designs for Elizabeth. But this was an OK one with an OK ending.
It took me until you mentioned Aidan to figure out, that this was set in season 1. You might want to add that for any other confused readers. I pretty sure there's some of those out there.

That was really good. I liked that Kate was in it and she played a good role; not too much, but enough to show John's thoughts. Everyone seemed very in character as well. Great job! =]
