Will John be making an appearance in the next chapter? I love this story! Please update very soon.
Author's Response: Yep, the man in the mask will be returning to Elizabeth's life in the next chapter, I assure you; things are just a bit... hectic... for him at the moment...
How about Sumner? Or is he a pilot? He's supposed to be dead anyway.
Author's Response: From what I've seen he's a marine- or at least more of a land-based soldier- rather than a pilot, and he can't do this because I need him to stay around for a while...
I noticed you changed the part with Simon & had Elizabeth break up with Simon instead of vice versa. I suppose that for this story it makes sense. As for "Intruder" since John is the one who saved the day in the episode how will you accomplish it here? I can't see Sumner doing it. I don't think he was even a pilot. Or did he hitch a ride on the Daedalus somehow?
Author's Response: I've got a couple of thoughts about "Intruder", but all I'll say now is that John ISN'T on "Daedalus"; he'd have no idea of the territory there or where to hide, whereas he knows Atlantis better than anyone alive.
Glad you liked the part with Simon and Elizabeth; I was a bit worried about that.
I'm sooo happy you're back! I thoroughly enjoyed the first story and was hoping you'd come back soon to get our heroes out of the limbo they found themselves in.
I know the reasoning behind why the military are reacting the way they are and I love that Elizabeth can't quite wrap her head around her feelings for John.
As for John, he loves her and is willing to do almost anything to ensure her happiness.
Very much looking forward to the next bit. Tan :)
I don't know why they see John as a threat. He's been saving their butts. You'd think they'd be grateful.
Author's Response: It's the whole 'military mentality' thing, really; while they ARE grateful to John for helping them, the fact remains that they don't know WHY he's helping them, leaving them increasingly concerned about why he's going to these lengths to keep THEM in the city after going to so much effort to keep the Genii and the Wraith out as they fear he has some ulterior motive.
(Which, in all fairness, he DOES have; it's just that his 'ulterior motive' relates to the fact that he's in love with Elizabeth rather than any kind of hostile intent)
