OK, so I took a gamble and read this, even if I generally hate and despise any fics, which starts out as John/Teyla. Not even if it is a John/Teyla break up one, with J/E getting together later. Mainly because I am a John/Elizabeth shipper through and through and has been from the very beginning and John only having romantic designs for Elizabeth. But this was an OK one with an OK ending.

It took me until you mentioned Aidan to figure out, that this was set in season 1. You might want to add that for any other confused readers. I pretty sure there's some of those out there.

Such a wonderful story. Loved it how you connected the love story to the Ancient woman, Ayiana, found in SG1's "Frozen". I just love it when writers, such as yourself, manages to do that. Love how they'll start to make Atlantis a city again, with all that follows. Meaning families, with kids and all those things. (No matter what the people on Earth says, because they're in another galaxy, for cryin' out loud.)

Another chapter, or a sequel, would be much appreciated, but this is also more than enough.

Btw... I also love those fics, where either John or Elizabeth has a connection with Atlantis.

Aww... This was very sweet and yes, John can pick out a present.A very nice present indeed.

And trust Rodney to have that incredible bad timing, by calling and demanding attention, therefore interrupt a tender moment. But adore the kiss Elizabeth placed upon John's cheek before he went to see what Rodney wanted.

If you decide for a second chapter or a sequel, that I'd be very happy. If not, that's OK. It is your fic and your decision after all.

I would have also like a closure in that episode. Meaning John coming back to Atlantis and being "reunited" with Elizabeth. It was very annoying, that the episode ended where it ended, because it lacked of a, somewhat, closure. If only by a balcony scene between John and Elizabeth, in whatever manner they (the writers), could have played it out. By a hug or just plain talking between J&E.

I'm a tad displeased with the writers in regards to the ending.

But nevertheless... *Story goes to faves*

No, not a boring chapter at all. I liked it a lot.

I have one thing though... In the first part, where Jack snaps out an "Oh for goodness sake!"... He would more likely have snapped out an "Oh fer cryin' out loud!" instead, because that's one of his trademark saying, especially when dealing with an exasperating situation like that. Just a FYI. But cool he got to go off-world (or off-city) and got to put his Ancient gene to good use again.

Now to see what happens, now that they're just under that replicator battle ship.

I think you're probabley right about Jack, one thing thats really hard about fanfiction is keeping the characteristaion and this is one of my first stories so it's hard trying to see what fits the characters. Still a wonderful story and loved how John was comforting Elizabeth, when she realized that only four students came out alive.

Addendum to the last chapter's review (mine) and your response:
Since Georgetown is in DC and if Jack's at the Pentagon, it would make sense that he was there with John at a time like that.

This was such a fun read, with John being like a shy teenage boy, where his feelings towards Elizabeth was concerned. I loved how she figured it out and how she told him, that she returned those feelings. I loved that it all was resolved in such an adolescent way by scratching the initials into a table top...

I love it when you can get a good giggle reading a fic. *Adds it to faves.*

(Just one tiny thing though: You've spelled Ronon's name as Ronan, when it's the former that's the correct one. Just a FYI.)
