Author’s note: I haven’t even seen The Return, but I did read the scripts, so first I apologize for any mistakes I have made. I saw a scene in a video and I didn’t know what had happened. After I found out, I felt I needed to write something, just because the scenes where Elizabeth is visited by Carson, and the dinner, broke my heart. Well, I would like to dedicate this to my wonderful beta Angel Leviathan, without her this wouldn’t be understandable, and to ness; girl, you don’t even know me, but a line from your fic Fall to Pieces, gave me the last push.
