“John for crying out loud will you sit still!” Elizabeth pleaded in exasperation.
“I’ve almost got it.” He replied.
“No you don’t, I told you, every time you move, the restraints get tighter!”
“And I’m telling you that I’ve almost got it.”
“John I’m losing feeling in my hands.”
No response.
“John.”
A strange growling sound.
“John did you just growl at me?”
“No I did not growl! Why on earth would I growl at you Elizabeth?” He sounded annoyed.
“You did, I can’t believe it, you growled at me in anger.” She said in disbelief.
In his opinion she was finding all this a little too amusing for his liking.
“Elizabeth . . .”
They felt the rope give way and pulled themselves free.
“There what did I tell you?” He gloated.
They pulled away from each other, both immediately missing the contact, and slowly started to stand. It was difficult; they were stiff from being in the same position for so long, but eventually, after much stretching and cracking of various bones, they turned to face each other.
This, it would seem, was a mistake.
“Ahhhh!” John called out, waving his arms in front of him as if that would help erase the sight of a very naked Elizabeth Weir stood before him.
They both turned away, blushing furiously.
“I really did NOT need to see that.”
“Oh John please, am I that bad?” She asked jokingly.
“No that’s not what I meant, I mean I . . . I . . .” Lt Colonel John Sheppard was at a loss for words, for once in his life.
“It’s ok John, I’m kidding, I know that’s not what you meant.”
“Oh you have got to be kidding me!”
“What? What is it?” Elizabeth was obviously concerned.
“Well that’s just topped the day off for me, that’s just fantastic!” His sarcasm was evident.
“What?” Elizabeth asked, turning to see what was wrong with him now. “Oh. OH!” She stammered as John looked up to see her staring straight at him.
“Turn round!” John shouted, getting flustered.
“You turn round!” She replied, unable to take her eyes off his impressive hard-on.
“Elizabeth!”
“Fine! But you should turn round as well, you can see my ass.”
“Stop it! That’s not helping.”
“Try to think of something disgusting like . . .”
“McKay!” John replied.
“Now that’s not nice.”
“I know, I know, I’m just trying to lighten the mood, you know, boy goes on mission with girl, boy gets stripped naked and tied to girl, boy sees said girl naked and becomes very . . .”
“Aroused.” Elizabeth supplied, trying to suppress her laughter.
“Ok, you’re having way too much fun here.”
They both turned around, forgetting their predicament but turned back quickly when faced with body parts that they weren’t supposed to see.
“So what now?” Elizabeth asked, realising that they needed to find a way out of here.
“I don’t know, any ideas?”
“No, sorry.”
“Well we can’t go anywhere with me looking like this, I’m gonna have to sit for a minute and think about bugs or something.”
They both walked to opposite sides of the room and sat facing away from each other.
