Story Notes: John/Liz pairing
Teyla/Ronon pairing
Author's Chapter Notes: A new girl arrives in the street, whilst one cocky boy is eager to meet her.

It was a hot and sunny day outside, and the three of them felt like they were going to pass out anytime soon. This morning, John, Teyla and Ronon had been playing on the street with water guns, and now they were absolutely soaked. But that didn’t rub away the feeling of the moist, hot air that surrounded them. Apparently they had to stop because the moving vans had arrived in the street.

John was on his back, propping himself up on his arms, watching the van unload. A woman in her mid-30’s came out of the house and helped with moving furniture. Suddenly the doors flung open and a girl ran out with her paint set and easel, trying to set it up on the grass.

She had burgundy hair (that bordered on dark chocolate) and wore a baby blue shirt with skinny jeans that showed off her long sexy legs. She would have been no more than 15 like me, he thought.

They sat there for about 10 minutes in silence. John was contently watching her as she leant over her board to look at him. She smiled a bit, but was more focussed on her drawing.

“Hey Teyla, Ronon, feel like saying hello?”
“You that cocky with girls Sheppard?” smirked Ronon.
“No, just being friendly. I used to be a newbie here too you know.”
“Well, I for one will accompany you. It may be awkward being approached by a boy, but it may lighten the burden with another girl around.”
“Okay, whatever she just said. Lets go!” finished Ronon.

--

Oh God. Are they seriously coming over here? Oh… But the one with messy black hair is cute. Oh God. They’re getting closer. Please be a distraction or something.

She closed her eyes together, trying to hear the slightest voice of someone calling her.
“Elizabeth! Time for Lunch!”
Oh Thank God.
“Coming mother!”

And there she went, leaving her easel, paint, paper and drawings on the ground.

--

“Oh.” Sighed Teyla. “She went inside.”
“Well we didn’t come all this way for nothing.”
“John man, we only walked halfway across the street.”
“So? I wanna see how good an artist she is.”

And with that, he ran to the new girls lawn and stood in front of her easel, with his mouth wide open.
That was good enough for Ronon and Teyla to run the rest of the way up.
When they got there, all three of them stood speechless.
It was them. She had drawn them sitting on the lawn. Perfectly imaged and everything. “Woah,” they all said.

“Why don’t we write her a note?” asked Teyla.
Without knowing, Ronon picked up some scrap paper and started writing on it. Soon after, he passed it onto Teyla, who passed it onto John. They had all scribbled a message onto it.

Ronon wrote:
-Woah your good. Ever considered the art school? It’s only 20mins away? Hope to see you around. a86; From Ronon Dex

Teyla wrote:
-Aww that was very sweet. You’re very talented. Maybe we could speak to you soon? Thanku! From Teyla xx

John wrote:
-Hey! I’m John that was awesome of you to draw us on the grass. Maybe next time we can pose for you? *wink* JKS! JKS! Well anyway, it’d be great to know you. Laters Elizabeth. P.S. Hot Jeans.

Teyla snatched the paper off him to see what he wrote.
“You know John, sometimes your too cocky for your own good.”
Ronon yawned and looked at his watch. “Hey, lets crash at my place for lunch yeah?”
“Lets go!” yelled John.
Teyla giggled.

Little did they know, that someone was watching them out of the window. After they retreated to Ronon’s house, she crept outside, got the paper and ran back in.

Her face beamed to see what they had written. “Thankyou,” she whispered. But she couldn’t help but laugh at the jeans part. Yes indeed, she would like to meet them face to face one day. Yes, hopefully one day indeed.

Chapter End Notes: Please Read and R (R&R) for me, this is my first !Fic, so yeah. Thankx!
