I miss Elizabeth. Thanks for bringing
her back. Very well done. I didn't watch the episode. I could not get into seasons 4 and 5. It was too painful seeing a lost John.
Too bad John couldn't beam Elizabeth to the Daedalus & take her back to his own reality.
Author's Response: Yeah, but then that would involve taking her away from the John in that reality, and breaking his heart just like our John's, and I don't think Elizabeth would appreciate being kidnapped like that. Even if she were forced to stay with them, I don't think she would ever forgive them for taking her away from her home.
But maybe if it had been a reality where everybody had died but Elizabeth and she was all alone, then he could beam her up and things would work out.
Thanks for reviewing. :)
Truly bittersweet, but I liked it. It would be interesting to see what the alternate Elizabeth thought about this little encounter. Nevertheless, it was a worthy goodbye between them. Good work.
Author's Response: Thanks very much. I'm glad you liked it, and yes, it would be interesting to see what the alternate Elizabeth thought. Maybe one day I'll write a little something that gave that view point. That's a very likely possibility. :)
Thanks for reviewing.
Aww.. Of all the things he could have said, he settled for, "I... I'm glad you're okay." Sounds like John. =) I liked it very much even though I'm not into the whole angst stuff. *salute*
Author's Response: Well thanks. :) I'm glad you liked it, and considered what he said in character. Yay. Thanks for reviewing.
I love it. It's so sad and heartbreaking and yet beautiful.
If only this had been in the ep :^(
Author's Response: You've already had my thanks, but here it is again.
And I wish it had been in the ep too. That's why I wrote it. I think it would have added another level to that ep that it lacked, instead of having the constant life-in-peril action fest of all the other realities, to see one where things were actually normal (and like they were supposed to be) and got the more emotional aspect to the episode, which we only got a little of in Teyla's comments about the alternates they found on the ship. But if they had done it, it would have only made the actual reality seem less than perfect, and they can't have that now can they? Anyway...
The review is much appreciated. :)
