What a funny story, and at the same time a perfect romantic comedy.
I love your work. Great job.
Author's Response: Thanks!! :^)
*sigh* That was so good! The last time I saw that movie I couldn't help but think of Stargate, so that made me very happy. Liked the humor in it (the part about being an actor at a convention, ha!) but the angst part was excellent too. Very gripping. Great job!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm very glad you like the two different parts.
Aww cute! I love that movie! Totally love how you kept everyone in character!
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad you think I kept them IC. That's always one of my main concerns and I'm not always sure I got it quite right.
Both your plot bunnies were great. I loved the comedy part best though. But her saying "never give up, never surrender", made up for any slight disappointment with the angst. I wish we had seen movie night on the show.
Author's Response: Thank you! The only downside of using that line as an important factor is that the reader must have seen the movie to really understand it... but I actually don't know a single sci-fi fan that hasn't seen Galaxy Quest yet. ;^)
And you're right, movie night on the show would have been awesome. They really should have fitted it in somewhere.
Well done Kris, I really like this. Very angsty ;) John's remarks during the film were funny hehe, and I can't help but say that Elizabeth does look a LITTLE bit like Sigourney Weaver =P
Author's Response: Thank you very much. Yeah, it did end up a lot more angstier than planned. The entire fic was supposed to be like that first part with just a bit of fluffy/flirty Shep/Weir in the background... did that pan out differently ;^)
Glad you like it though.
