Very good! Although it's kind of the wrong wheather for this at the moment, I really got a wintery feeling :) And the snow metaphor is really awesome.

Really it was beautiful. You got the characters perfectly right. I loved the change between talks, thoughts and the metaphorical use of the snow. Perfect. Please, add a second chapter.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked the way I got the snow in there. We'll see about the second chapter... life is keeping me busy at the moment. But I am planning on adding more to that universe eventually.
